How Do You House Your X3?

I just received my new Reverselogic jack adapter today (much thanks to Lotus 7) and it got me thinking about housing the X3. Since the car has become much more of a hobby than previous cars, I find myself wanting to improve my garage and tools. Basically I have a three car garage with the two bimmers parked on one side. The third car slot has workout equipment, bikes and cabinets. I painted the walls Swiss Coffee white and the floor is painted medium gray with no slip concrete paint. Since I've moved 15 times I've given up on built-in cabinets and use the Rubbermaid gray/black cabinets and shelving. In this garage I really miss a workbench. I have a moderate tool collection and probably could work on just about any car without a problem. Eschewing a full sanitized look, I like the fact that some of my tools and equipment have a nostalgia attached to them. On the X3 I'm using box end wrenches that I bought when I was 16 years old to work on my VW 1500s notchback (look that one up). My main tool box was my Dad's from working at Lockheed Aircraft for 43 years (this thing has sat next to or in some of the most famous American planes), and I have my grandfather's S&K 1/2" Ratchet set which is probably a good 60-70 years old. Hey, you buy good tools and they last for ever!

In the next garage I'd like to do the floors in the speckled epoxy paint, have a work bench and get a "BMW ONLY PARKING" sign. I really like to see what some of you have done, especially the one's that take three plus hours to wash their cars! I can always use some fresh ideas! Show some pictures!

A clean garage simply means there is no work going on in the garage!

I got it on eBay years ago. I tried to find it again a year or so ago for someone and came up empty. It is very nice - I wish it were easier to find. I guess it makes mine a rarity, but if I ever needed to replace it...

Of course, one must have a clock in the garage too... and on another wall:
