I'm super awesome excited.

Can't wait. My sales rep has never scheduled a pdc delivery before so hopefully he doesn't f- it up and things go smoothly these next few weeks.

When did you order? I ordered on 09/10 and got production number on 09/12... Still "order documented"...

Ordered X3 35i on September 13th. Within 2 days, dealer said I was scheduled for week 43. A few days after that, it was changed to week 41 (week of Oct 3rd). Today, dealer sent me an email stating production to start on October 4th. However, no date set on PCD pick-up. Received production number on 9/22/11. No VIN# as yet.

I ordered on August 27th. They were putting me in for either week 40 or 42. No change to status yet.

We did the deal on August 17th. The dealer said that they could not actually enter an order for a 2012 X3 yet at that time, so I don't know when it was actaully entered into"the system".

No, production of 2012 just started. All my august order means is that I got in the queue (for you Brits) first to be one of the first few to get the 2012s when they started producing

lookin good... FYI - at this point my DHP only showed perf control and variable sport steering - dynamic damper control wasn't on this list - however when the X3 arrived it is on the sticker. somethings just wierd about how they do DHP bundle in their database, in the end the X3 will come out ok. bet we see your build vid by the middle of october.

and now that you've gone to production begins - no changes to the specs. when flashy09 gets to that point we'll all need to buckle up

Wow, you ordered that late and got into week 39?

To track goto BMW's website. Click on My BMW and create an account.

Click on Add/Remove Vehicles and add the production# of your vehicle that should have been given to you by your CA.

You can then click on Track my BMW.

As I understand it, individual dealers often have production slots they can modify up until the last minute. These end up being cars on the lot if they don't sell a car from that slot.

I was told the same thing. apparently the only thing that can't change is engine package 28i vs 35i. I assume that applies w/ the 20d and 30d as well. My dealer had a 28i slot that was a week from build when i placed my order. Apparently they also 2 customers myself and another trying to get the sept build slot - and they solved that by getting another 35i slot in a DX for a 3 series.

My CA told me they try to get all the X3 build slots they can for the fall this year because they have high hopes for X3 sales in the fall SUV season. They really weren't available til like January so its the first fall - will see if he is right.

As stated earlier, I ordered 9/13. Scheduled for week 41. Now in status 150 (no more changes allowed). CA called to say actual build to start Oct.4th. Whoopee

I placed my order on 9/24/11...I'm on status 112, on MY BMW account it shows the X3 in white I hope that once my order goes to production it shows that my X3 was ordered in Black...

The color often doesn't update until it moves into production phase. At that point it will list out all the options you selected.
