Has anyone experienced the 2 Day M Performance Driving School down in SC? views? opinions? I am signed up for the one at the end of the month.

I haven't done the M School, but I've done the regular 2-day Performance Driving school. It was the most fun that I've had in years, and I learned things that make me a better driver every day. It's a great facility, and the instructors are genuinely nice people. I'm curious how you make out on the drifting. The best that I could do in a 335 was one lap around the skidpad. My co-driver did three continuous laps.

Yeah I can't wait. Will let you guys know with a sum up of my experience. I wanted to do the 2 day performance school but thought if i was spending that much I might as well go full out and get that super awesome helmet and gear while threashing some m cars around the track.

I did the 1 day performance course the week before Christmas......it was AWESOME!!!! I would recommend it or any of the courses there. The instructors were great and I actually learned things that I am trying to incorporate in everyday driving. It was fun. I got to drive the M235 and the 4 door 335.

While those of us who have been at the Performance Center for other reasons may be jealous of mge.92's upcoming M-School adventure, here's a thought for all:

They have a Teen School at the BMW Performance Center too. Of the 14 people in my Performance School "class", 1/4 of them had kids next door at the Teen School while Dad was at the Performance School. They were doing similar exercises. Consider both schools.

I've been to a one day performance school for 8 hours, non-M. It was still exhilarating and I would do it again and again. Everyone from all ages and genders should try it once in their life. too bad its so far from here (NYC).

Make sure to exercise your BMW CCA discount- it's good for 15%, last I knew.
