2016 35i - Auto Start/Stop seems to have stopped working
I'm perplexed and I cannot seem to find other threads when searching (I guess too many generic words)
I have a 2016 X3 35i M-Sport, 107K miles but meticulously maintained. All maintenance is up to date, but it's due for an oil change (next week). I bought her in 2022 with just under 100K miles and have only put on a few thousand miles since I don't drive much. Any ideas on how to diagnose why the auto start/stop function isn't working? I typically drive with windows down and no ac. So I know that's not causing it. Could my battery not be as charged as it used to be since I don't drive a lot? How would I check that? Or can the dealer just see that when doing a vehicle check with the oil change? Thoughts? Or links to other posts if you know of them... thanks in advance!

There are a lot of ASS inhibitors that can cause the engine not to turn off. Here's a list...which still doesn't include all of the switch off inhibitors:
