Windshield Washer Smell
I have a brand new 15 and have used the windshield washers only a handful of times but every time I use the spray on the front window, there is a strong smell through the vents of the windshield washer fluid! I have never experienced this before. Do you think this will stop or has anyone experienced this before?

It's happened with all my cars when the washer fluid is at a high concentration. Sounds normal to me.

That is completely normal as the input air vent is close by. I usually run quite high concentrate of washer fluid and the smell is not unpleasant. There are even scented washer fluids available, but I wouldn't go that far

I find garages put a lot of non-water fluid in so I smell it after a service and also when the fluid is low there's usually a collection of concentrated fluid at the bottom of the bottle. Smelling the fluid with a normal non-winter concentration is a classic way to know that you are close to running out of fluid.
