"Can't fix stupid" When you read some of the Gaia insanity, they think 200 to 400 million select people on the earth is the right number.

BMW EV's are sitting on lots and Canadian dealers are desperate to give them away. Many different color and many different options to pick I never come across with BMW Canada that will offer that kind of low lease interest rate (1.99%). I think it tell you something

“Measurements of SF6 show that its global average mixing ratio has increased from a steady base of about 54 parts per quadrillion[10] prior to industrialization, to over 11.5 parts per trillion (ppt) as of October 2023, and is increasing by about 0.4 ppt (3.5 percent) per year.[8][42] Average global SF6 concentrations increased by about seven percent per year during the 1980s and 1990s, mostly as the result of its use in magnesium production, and by electrical utilities and electronics manufacturers. Given the small amounts of SF6 released compared to carbon dioxide, its overall individual contribution to global warming is estimated to be less than 0.2 percent,[43] however the collective contribution of it and similar man-made halogenated gases has reached about 10 percent as of 2020.[44] Alternatives are being tested.[45][46]” wikipedia

The sources are journals you pillock. Of which MIT has to apply for peer review, just like everyone else.

Almost as soon as Wikipedia was created, it became useless, if you cared about facts that is.

https://www.blacklistednews.com/arti...cade-wiki.html AI was being trained to write articles since before 2018 https://www.theregister.com/2018/02/..._ai_wikipedia/ AI already writes articles - Though I can't prove it, I think a lot of what we considered trolls on websites, and "propoganda" with poor spelling and grammatical mistakes were actually AI testing. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article...hatgpt-article AI wrote that. Additionally, you can tell that Wikipedia is written by AI because they all share the same tone. AI on Google and Bing can basically compile and do the same thing - and the same "neutral" tone.

BMW Canada is offering the following for ICE cars for the same 24 months at 1.49%: 2024 X1 xiDrive28i 2024 X3 xDrive30i 2024 330i xDrive Sedan 2024 M440i xDrive Coupe & Cabriolet These are all better rates for ICE cars than the 1.99% for EV's over the same 24-month term. Frankly, I think this thread should be move to the Off-Topic board because much of the conversation has more to do with the debate about climate change than about actual cars. |

Funny post from a truck driver on another site.
"I have a CDL with HAZMAT. If I have just one EV battery in the wagon I must placard all 4 sides of the wagon and I must have HAZMAT endorsement on my CDL as long as the battery weighs 1000 pounds or more. So why don't all EV's with a battery weighing 1000 pounds or more have placards on all 4 sides and the driver have HAZMAT endorsement on their license and follow all of the HAZMAT rules? The battery is just as dangerous or more so in the EV as it is in my wagon." I wonder why EV's kill twice as many drivers by fire than a shitbox Pinto. There must be some reason why, hmmm, I'll just have to think on that some more. |

Plug-In Nightmare: Tesla Owners Wait Hours to Charge Electric Vehicles After Eclipse
10 Apr 2024 “(The eclipse) was spectacular, but I had to rush back because I noticed the battery on my Tesla was running low and all the charging stations at Jay Peak were taken,” Monica Livesey told WCVB. Livesey, who is from Wakefield, Massachusetts, and drove to Vermont in an EV on Monday to see the total solar eclipse, said her return home was made worse for her family — as well as other Tesla owners — when they all had to search for charging stations in rural areas. And when they eventually did find a charging station in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, there were met with long lines of electric vehicles, she said. “I got there with one mile only to find out there were about 60 cars waiting to be charged,” Livesey told the outlet. The Livesey family reportedly helped a couple try to organize the lines by handing out numbers that made electric vehicle drivers wait their turn to charge. The Livesey family ended up waiting more than four hours to charge their Tesla, and got home at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday. They noted that the last ticket they handed out was number 189, and that they saw more people pulling up to the charging stations as they left. https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2024/...after-eclipse/ Imagine if you will a natural disaster like a forest fire or hurricane with with tens of thousands of EV's trying to charge along the evacuation route. |
