Question Anyone use another oil other than 5W30?

I was wondering whether if anyone on here is using a different oil viscosity other than a 5w30.

Was thinking of switching to 5w40.

TIA

same or mobil 1 0w40....wally world has both euro spec oils. if you push the intervals i'd stick with the LL oils approved by BMW but I go 5-6K and would have no problem using any name brand synthetic 5w30

M1 0w-40!

It's the best value. You can get it in those 5 quart jugs for almost $26/5quarts. Inexpensive compared to other comparable motor oils.

Use the BMW brand. I am able to buy it cheaper at the dealer than the Euro blend at Autozone

X3 and ZHP get M1 0w-40. I was using Liquimoly but my NAPA stopped carrying that viscosity. My oil change interval is 7-9k miles.
