I just noticed this....
Does anyone else find it interesting that the BMW Fuel System Cleaner Plus bottle is shaped exactly like a bottle of Techron? You can buy 3 bottles of Techron at Walmart for the price of 1 "BMW Fuel System Cleaner Plus". Gotta love it....

Yep, noticed this some # of years ago.
Keep it in mind when looking for oil for the car, if having "BMW approved" oil really makes a difference or if there are plenty of good and possibly identical solutions without that wording on the bottle. |

All BMW (and likely other brands) liquids aren't made by BMW.
The current oil contract is with shell, used to be with Castrol for example.
