I misremembered. I actually have 96500 miles. Will be doing the brake fluid in early August when I get back from a road trip where I expect to get to over 100k miles (oil change will be due before 101,000 miles).

My previous car, not a BMW, had brakes that wore fast. I think I did them at about 40k and 80k, and the person I sold car to had to do them again at around 120k.
