Yes, they all look the same! The only reason why the x4 looks the best, is because they handled the rear door properly. The door placement on the other vehicles make them look bloated. Their proportions are off.

Audi made the S7 look sexy. BMW just can't get the rear angles right.
6GC looks way better then the S7. These other ones all look out of proportion though, I agree with that line of thought.

I really, really, don't see a need for all 3 of these models to exist, and I hate BMWs new naming structure. And now the 3 series vs 4 series gran coupe? Come on man. . . Too much differentiation IMO, I'm all about choices but enough is enough, and if I had to choose between one of these 3 it would be a lesser of two terms battle like trying to vote for Mitt Romney or Barrack Obama all over again.

The S7 is butt ugly especially from behind looks like a 1st gen CLS that went wrong from the rear! Hope In LCI they refresh the front of the 6GC, it's not ugly but could be better!

Beer Goggles!

All represent missed opportunities when it comes to design. The X4 might be the best but it's shape lack cohesion.

It is too narrow to give the car a proper sporty proportion and the wheels just leave too big a gap in the wheel arches.

Not hating, but just saying....

Too bad the X4 suffers from the same interior as the X3. They should have given it the more current interior like the X5/6

I'm just confused as for the need for these cars.
It's priorities. Some people want more space for passengers too.

It is even worse. It looks like 3 GT kicked in its arse.

But seriously I like 3 GT. Very classy 3er with plenty of space in the rear row and big trunk. All for reasonably good money.

No clue? You have a clue what I like and what I don't?

Please.

I've seen all three cars in person. To me, they are all odd looking. Yes, the X4 is the best looking of the 4, but that's not saying much.

Honestly I've always quite liked the 5GT. The LCI really helped with the look of the tail, but it's on road presence, in darker colours, is awesome. The white in the photo looks awful, I've no idea why people would choose a white car anyway though.

The 3GT with M-sport pack is one of the best looking fronts on the entire line-up, better than the standard F30 in my opinion. And I would be choosing one in the near future, except the really cocked up the hoffmeister kink.. and the D-pillar just looks too thin, so I'll be going for a 4GC instead.

The X4 M-sport is unforgivably ugly. The tail end is fine, but it is without any doubt the ugliest face BMW have ever designed. And realistically, the increased price and tax implication just isn't worth it.

I'm bored of tourers, I've had two, yes they're handy, but I've never been that keen on the shape, so I like these sloping roofs, and I think I'm right in saying the GT's offer more luggage space than the tourers anyway.

I drive a 6-series Gran Coupe (among other cars) but I have very fond memories of the 5-Series GT we had (and kept the longest!) until last year. Sure the styling polarises opinion, and there are a lot of BMW fanboys who will never see it (much less test drive one to make sure they know what they're talking about!). But this is a car with many great touches and a fantastic example of BMW design experience. Sure you rarely see one in the US but thats not the case in Asia, Continental Europe and more recently, even in the UK as new model and trim options have brought the cost down.

Point is, this car has terrific utility for a young family (space for pushchairs, bags, grocery, more..) without compromising luxury, space, versatility or style for those it suits. Perfect for someone not keen to step into a wagon/touring and not wanting to be seen in a SUV (yes America, large parts of the world don't care for large SUVs) - and One of the best BMW cabin interiors built to a high spec with a lot of goodies thrown in as standard and still $20,000 cheaper than a 7-Series.

Fantastic as a motorway cruiser yet surprisingly poised in city. You appreciate the subtle presence and design touches in time. Very quick and admittedly not as much fun to throw around at 2 tonnes than a light 4-series, 3-series or 5-series but then neither is my 6GC!

Now the whole point is nothing will convince the fanboys to think differently but fortunately for a company developing profitable niches, this model delivers.

From someone who put their money where their mouth is.

Not even close ! I am a big fan of the X4/X6 but think the GT's (and the disgusting 2AT) is the worse thing BMW has done for a long time!
