I pretty much had my mind made up on the 440 gran coupe but now I'm thinking of the 340. For nearly identical build, the 340 is approx $6k less. I like the idea of driving a not so common car (440) but not sure if the extra money is worth it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have a 420xd GC and i loved it in terms of design and i thought it's more practical than the 3 series.

It's more expensive but there's the form factor.

LCI should be close now though for the GC with probably new front light units and rear where they hopefully will be LED light units.

Both cars are great, but if you will only use the backseats occasionally but love a practical boot, the 440GC is the better car - and it looks awesome too.

Only buy the 340i if you expect to carry tall passengers or regularly be 4-5 people in the car.
