Side Marker Plug on X4 M40

Anyone replace the silver side marker plug with a lighted version? Is it an easy/possible mod?

The driver's side should be a piece of cake. You can see it behind the alarm horn.

To get to the other side, it looks like you need to remove the windshield washer tank.

And for both we would need to find the right wire to tab in to. Anyone?
