Cargo Mat is junk

Just wanted to say that if anyone is thinking of getting the Multifunction Fitted Luggage Compartment Mat....forget it. It's a piece of junk if you ask me. I got one for Christmas for my X3 and I can't believe it has the BMW name on it, let alone costs more than $100. I feel bad for my family member who got it for me

It's made out of about $0.10 worth of plastic, covers the side cargo bin, covers the rails tie down system and mine is warped on the edges (because the plastic is so thin you could floss your teeth with it). If it cost $14.95, I MIGHT understand. But $105? Unbelievable.

Ok rant over. Thanks for letting me vent.

That's too bad. I had considered getting it but I might pass on it. I saw a pic of the WeatherTech luggage compartment and it also had warped edges. I'm not sold on that product either.

I have the one by weathertech and I'm pleased with it. Well constructed and durable

I've got one too... OK with it but as you pointed out it has many flaws.

My beef is with the 'all weather' floor mats that don't appear to prevent melted snow from saturating the carpeting.... Donno if the weathertech floor mats are any better.
