I think we can both agree that its a totally different car on the road, especially around corners. Really glad I didn't go for just the lowering springs. |

I couldnt tell you exactly how low it is inch wise but its all the way down and that pic was taken before I put 20x10s all the way around with 25 and 32 offset lol its a ruined X3 but shes mine. All 4 corners tuck lip. With the stockies it handled like a champ, hardly any body roll and rode like a champ. Still rides like a champ now but as agressive as my wheel setup is now there really is no burning through corners lol. Cleary a case of Form>Function. Yeah with the lowering springs I can hardly notice the difference when I see a X3 lowered but all honesty you really dont see too many.

H&R Spacers F-15mm R-12mm for perfect fitment Continental ExtremeContact DWS F-245/35R20 R-275/35R20 JUST FYI. I choose my tire dimensions so that it doesn't confuse the Xdrive (si) system. I had 265s on the rear at first and the car did not enjoy that at all. |

Car looks amazing. Also my inspiration as I am selling my 335i for one too. Any things to look out for maintenance wise? I'm looking for 2010 with premium package and HIDs, no navigation.

I did it!
Found a great X3 in NJ while visiting family a couple weeks ago (I'm living in California.) The car was soooo cherry and we got a great deal that it was worth shipping back. I've replaced the battery, new intake filter, and put on blackout grills so far. Not much else I plan to do at this time except maybe the rear fog light switch. Does anyone know where to find one? I didn't have much luck. I'll have some pics soon, but in the meantime here are the specs... 2010 X3 Black Sapphire Metallic Black Leather 31k mi No Nav HIDs Any other must have mods that are fairly modest? Let me know!

Looking good OP! The black on black gives the X3 a real aggressive look

Love the wheels and the look!!
... wow! I feel the Avante Garde m310 / VMR v710 wheels should have come stock on this vehicle. Here's my set... Avante Garde 19x8.5 m310 Hyper Silver et35 all around, no spacers. Bilstien HD Shocks / OEM ride height Supplex HD Cargo Springs, new lower control arms & wheel bearings. The ride it tight but not harsh, love 'em. Love the rims! I'm going to have them powder coated soon. Last edited by ngcreese; 07-17-2014 at 07:12 AM.. |

Thanks a bunch. I have been finding it very hard to get answers I can trust so it helps hearing from someone who has gone down that road. As for the coilovers, how has it changed the ride? My 2010 stock ride is pretty rigid. I have read that the lowering springs will dampen more and was curious about the coilover route?
