Wheel Compatability?

Hi guys -

just a couple of weeks into the X3 and hit a slight hump in the road.

Bought a set of winter wheels and tyres (Autec Kitano & Pirelli Sottozero 3's)

Took them to my local garage this morning for fitting and it looks like the centre of the hub if fractionally larger on the F25 than on the newer G01

My bad for not doing my homework - so these will be in the classified shortly i guess.
Is there a compatible wheels/offsets wiki - of can someone point me to when i can get a set of larger rims that will fit on the F25 hubs?

live and learn!

Cheers guys,

Timmer

This was a list I used to share...but stopped updating it when BMW went with the latest 66.6mm wheel hub/center bore and 5x112mm wheel bolt pattern.

Hmmmm - yeah, it looks like the move depm 72.6mm to 66.6mm centre bore is what goosed things for this wheels swap.

Anyone know whether these will be a direct fit?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115996765...4AAOSwZj5lDoeB

look the right size but googling the rim number shows it as an X5 rim...

Dont want to make the same mistake again!

You can see the last 7 digits of the BMW part nbr in one of the pics on the site you linked (BMW part# 6 853 952)

This is BMW wheel style 446 which was an f15 X5 wheel:

https://bimmercat.com/bmw/en/search/...20/36116853952

When you click on the 11 digit BMW part nbr on the database sites...this wheel was only offered on the F15 X5. But this presents a similar issue to your other wheel selection...and why you should avoid vendors/sellers that do NOT give you complete info. The F15 X5 has a 74.1mm center bore/wheel hub...so the wheels will not fit on your 72.56mm hub without the use of hub centric rings.

My winter rims are from an X5 (74.1) on my X6M which has both 72.56 and 74.1… so its rings and spacers to correct offset on the rear.

My son has an F25… his winters are 74.1 also.
