X3 nN55 temp sensor not working?

Hasn't worked for over a year, engine seems to run fine, doesn't overheat heating and air-conditioning all seem to work fine, any ideas?

Which temp sensor? Oil, coolant, outside air? Throwing any codes?

Should have been more specific, the Temp gauge in the dash is not functioning. It doesn't move at all. It's not showing any codes.

You can use the "hidden menu" in the car's onboard computer to see if it's shows live oil and coolant temp readings....if so, then like you have a gauge issue, if no temp data in hidden menu then likely temp sensor is at fault. YouTube search will get you instructions on accessing the hidden menu.

Great that's a good lead, I'll check that out today! Thanks.
