BMW battery

This is just a PSA for those looking for a battery for their E83.

We got back from a trip yesterday and fortunately drove the E46 to the airport. The E83's battery was dead as a door nail today when I tried to unlock it.
I unsuccessfully tried to jump the car with 2 different chargers.
So I looked online to see who has a decent battery for a decent price.
Turns out my local dealer's online price is considerably less than the average aftermarket price.
Ordered it online and hold for pick up. It fits perfectly, it works perfectly and any dealer will warranty it, if needed.

Moral of the story is, always check your local dealer when parts shopping. If they have an online store, the prices are as good or better than ECS tuning and they can get the part overnight no charge if it's not in stock.
Become a BMWCCA member and get a discount.
The dealer isn't always out to get you.
