Some pics of my new ride!

Today was the first Saturday that the car was clean and we had some sunshine!

The first one is especially for my American friends here on the forum. Dutch wind mills (the guy on the horse is not a Dutch Amish )

These are the winter-wheels

These are the summer wheels

The control of the auxiliary heating / parking heating

Fantastic and with windmills as promised! You have the same summer/winter wheels as me - great taste!

Well worth the long wait Freeze, you wont see many F25's like that in NL. The moonroof image shows the extra light and scope very well and great internal colour combo.

You know the worst thing about the NL regulations is the spec on your license plates - they suck. The pressed aluminum you have to use spoils all cars.

I will be back over with my F25 in August at Leiden/Hague/AMS.

It's a small heating system that pre-warms the coolant fluid of the engine. It also activates the ventilation so when you get it the car it's cosy and warm

Here's more info: http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=607997

It works great (although under some circumstances it triggers the alarm, but the dealer is investigating the issue and I'm sure they'll find a solution)

Great pictures, fantastic summer and winter wheels. Plus I love the euro clear side markers. Very excellent ride and options.

Awesome ride and nicely taken photos!

Edit : Just want to comment on the Mineral Silver. Does it looks almost gold-ish colour under direct sunlight, as portrayed in your photos? Mineral Silver was among one of my colour choices. Great colour!

@medan: yes, the colour is exactly as you see it in the pictures. In the X3 brochure there are also a lot of examples of the colour.

I get a lot of positive comments about the colour, especially about it not being too agressive. I'm a sales manager and although I earned the car with hard work, customers not always like a sales man driving in a big car. This colour makes it a bit less agressive (at leats that's what I tell myself )

Hope you are enjoying your new car. We have an authentic Dutch windmill in Holland, Michigan too. I also have the 309 summer and 307 winter wheels. It's been a really mild winter so far with not more than a few inches of snow total, so I haven't been able to really tell how the car handles in the snow.

Hahaha mibmwx3, how cool is that! Some of the UK guys have their pics in a typical English countryside scenery and I've also seen a lot of American cities too so I tried to give the pics a bit of a Dutch flavor :-)

Very nice car. Great color and interior combo.
Hope to get mine in February or March. Just have to find some nice rimms instead of the default ones...

Was this heating system an aftermarket thing? I've not seen this option before and the display doesn't quite look like a BMW installed feature. It's an excellent option and I wish I would have known about it living in a cold climate myself.

Hi GenX3, yes this is an aftermarket thing. My signature links to the Webasto site but the brand they installed is Eberspacher; I thinks it's a German brand.

So it should be possible for you to also have it installed!
