Two questions,

1. Are the active bolsters back? I see a button that looks like it?

2. PLEASE tell me there are Comfort Access sensors on the rear doors.

Android screen cast? How? iDrive supports that? Please tell.

I think BMW is like one of the only auto makers out there that doesn't support Android Auto... Certainly the only German auto maker that I know of that doesn't support it.
All the G series to date have supported screen mirroring, but no android auto that I?ve seen. They do support wireless CarPlay as well which is an industry first. I would think that the software engineers are working android too, but you never know.

There are privacy concerns with Android Auto so BMW said no.

Looks like mini X5. Newer BMWs all look same from 3 series to 5 to 7...just the size difference. Either Bmw design team got lazy or they are copying Mercedes. There is no particular identity for any particular series like in the past.

actually its smart idea for those that are on a budget so for example those that like x5, would settle for x3.

Regarding the Breather - Calvin Luk confirmed it was not functional in the 30i series during his video interview with the AutoGefuhl team. We were awaiting confirmation about the M40i thinking the Presenter may have been incorrect, but Palbay has now confirmed in his thread.

So it seems the only outlier is the X3M at this time.

Although, as mentioned in a previous post, I would have preferred a smooth body style without a 'fake vent', I have to think that the Engineers felt that it was no longer necessary after they perfected other elements of the exterior (especially, perhaps, the underbody?). And perhaps this came at a point late in the design so that production design had already begun, so it would be easier to simply plug the gap.

Just guessing on this, but suspect if it pans out that the fluid dynamics don't require the Breather for any of the G01 variations, that perhaps in a(n) LCI version they may be removed. But it should also be added - some may actually like the look.

At this point I'm trusting the aerodynamic team at BMW as to its necessity.
+1 on preferring a smooth body style.

My thoughts were also with the X3M/X4M and future LCI. I was not at all surprised that the wheel well was plugged for production.

Thank you for all the photos. Would you please take a clear photo of the front wheel well facing the direction of the Air Breather?

Wow, had no idea this was a feature now. Clearly the OP is mirroring an android device and the video linked on how to mirror uses a Samsung, so why can't I fire up Waze on my phone and mirror that to the nav screen? I realize it's not the same as android auto support but this sounds like the next best thing.

BMW does't allow you to mirror while driving
