Show me your standard 35i in Black Sapphire Metallic

Hi, Since I don't think that I'm going to get a Sport Activity Package (hate the steering whell and sport seats), I ask you guys to share your pics of standard x35i in Black Sapphire Metallic.
I can't make my mind if I can get the X3 without those 19" rims that comes with SA package.

I looked at many many pictures of 35i in black, but some looks I just hate, I think this is because it's a regular non-metalic Black.

Thanks in advance.

I think most of the pictures on the dedicated black photo thread are sapphire metallic.

I looked at that thread a million times, but it's very confusing, because for example, I hate that look

http://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/att...7&d=1292951759

and i'm trying to understand, is that the color that makes it so ugly or just the look of 35i standard.

I'm hoping that in Black Sapphire color the standard 35i will look good enough. That is why I asked to post specifically picture of 35i in Black Sapphire.

Sorry for confusion.

Put the bigger 19" wheels under that baby and remove the x-line and you have a totally different looking car, maybe that's what you are looking for?

I had a 35i with the 18" rims in Black Sapphire up until June, then it was a lemon and I got a new one with the 19" rims on it. Go look at my thread, "PICTURES. Black X3" and then go look at "FINALLY My Black Sapphire X3." Those will show you the difference.

@juddholland: I saw your thread, and it's my dream. Congrats. The car is very hot. That is exactly what I want. But the sport seats is a deal breaker for me. I'm too large for these seats, I guess. lol

The bolsters are adjustable so you can widen or narrow the seat back.

Thank you, by the way. I'm very proud of my car.

@juddholland if I understood you correctly, before you had standard 35i without SAP and now your current car has a Sport Activity package .
So you are the perfect man to ask this question. Is the steering wheel different between these 2 cars?

thanks

False. The 309s were a standalone option for 2011. My new X3 is a 2011, so was my old one. Now they're offered in the SAP for 2012. I had the SAP before without the 309s, and now I have it again with the 309s. I believe you must order the SAP to get the sports leather steering wheel.

Impossible to order 309s without SAP. How did you order them without it?

Okay. Let's retrace our steps.

My first X3 was delivered in February when you could order the SAP without the 309s. It was a 2011. It had problems, so it was declared a lemon and sent back.

I received my second X3 with a new option list two weeks ago. I ordered the SAP with the 309s. It is a 2011.
