Hi all,

Quick question, I want to erase one album of the songs that I downloaded to the hard drive. I tried to find the instruction in the manual, but haven't found it yet. Thanks.

Try the owners manual built into iDrive…it has multiple ways to search for info and details for how the vehicle is optioned.

Since I don’t know if you have the CIC or NBT iDrive system (the procedure is similar but not quite the same)…you can quickly find the instructions on how to delete an Album by simply selecting MUSIC COLLECTION…then PRESS the OPTION button next to the controller knob. You should see a selection to open the owners manual which will give you step by step instructions on how to delete an album (as well as other delete options) in the iDrive display.

Its pretty intuitive in both CIC & NBT…you may be able to skip the manual’s instructions and select MANAGE…and work you way to the album you want to get rid of and press the OPTION button to start the selection & deletion of that particular album.

BTW, if you were looking for the instruction in the paperback manual…the instructions aren’t in the main book…but in the supplemental ENTERTAINMENT owners booklet. But again, I highly suggest using the manual built into iDrive…it is VIN specific and has multiple search capabilities.

Yes, I did.
Use Option button, then choose delete selected albums.
Delete certain songs within albums is also an option.
Delete all albums is also possible.
