buying bmx x3

Hi i am currently thinking of bying a used bmw x3 and i would like to know other than the timing chaine ( heard its mostly on 28i)is there any other issue i should know about.

i was maybe consider a 28d or 35i ( since no issue with timing chaine)

If you're interested to go non-turbo, consider 2011-2012 with 28i motor. BMW N52 in-line 6 cylinder. Solid motor, no timing chain issues as seen on 4 banger turbos.
