Hi, I've been searching for upgraded Downpipe to go with my planned MHD tune, everything was good, i almost bought the VRSF DP below

Until I accidentally read in the description that it is for PWG only, i have EWG on my 2015 x4 35i.

I thought, no problem, i'll just search for one, any of these tuning sites gonna have what im looking for, its a DP after all. NOT.

I went to this rabbit hole, days and days of ignoring my wife and feeling guilty about spending that much time online for what was supposed to be an easy find, and NOTHING. its like Im looking for a obscure car part that no one ever heard of, not a DP for a mass produced car!

Now what the hell, i looked at the forums and somewhere people ask the same things in comments, but no concrete reply.

Im sure there is a fix, something im missing, because no way all the people just wanted a DP for their EWG N55's just all gave up.
do other DP's kinda fit? do i need to just cut or something.

BTW i did find some random DP's but they were all hella expensive, like my whole project budget, and none from the known sites, aren't any of the top performance brands got it? did they just forget about it?

I could contact VRSF to confirm fitment.

Most likely, that DP will fit your car.


Unless you have a 40i model, then you'll need a 4 inch DP

Uhmm if you have an x35i you are pwg. What's your vin?

hey man, from what i read cars beyond 2014 are EWG, more or less

my vin is: WBAXW5108F0E85487

Any help works. btw i bit the bullet and bought the VRSF x4 M40i downpipe thinking it will fit since it seemed it would fit the EWG because of the 4" diameter, it didn't fit... so that confused me more, maybe its PWG after all...

I actually got the 4" downpipe made for x4 M40, it didnt fit /:

Yah that vrsf site is incorrect for model years and 4.0 vs 3.5 for the x3. I did the same exact wtf thing and that it should be one vs the other.
