Lease deals - remaining 17s (help)

Guys,

Would love some guidance:

What kind of terms should I be looking for on the last of the f25 17?s...

I don't do leases but my impression is the market for comparable lease opportunities for the model are easily searchable. In any case, the best terms you are able to negotiate now would be much better once the 2018s hit the showroom and start to lease.

I wouldn't do it. If you're not buying i'd get the latest model. I can understand saving big $$$ on a new 17 purchase but a lease? WHat are you saving, $80 month over a new 2018?

I think I agree with how you've framed the question. I believe it boils down to whether $80 or so per month or a model year ending in 8 rather than 7 is more valuable. I personally value the $80 more because it will not decrease in value nearly as quickly as the model year designation.

Another consideration would be what differences in features, form, or performance there may be between the 2017 and 2018. From what I know, I don't think there are many.

Yep, new generation of car. The '17 is basically the same car as the '11

That is another kettle of fish. I would hold out for the 2018 unless the cost difference were much more than $80/month.

There is the matter of being an "early adopter." You could be one of the first to own the plug in hybrid technology, for better or worse. I'm intrigued by the diesel option but if I were to do it the chances are 99%+ I would go for the gasoline powered version.
