Agree. Us Canadians get it too but BMWNA bases engine choices on the US market.

I love threads like this..Reminds me of the DCT vs Manual transmission debates on the M3 forum.

Bottom line is it's nice to have choices as everyones needs are so different. With an S65 sitting in the garage I didn't need a 35i, so we just ordered our 28i last week. But I can see how the 35i would be the first choice for many.

I just wish we could have a diesel option here in the States. That would be my first, second and third choice...
