Exclamation Phones that can pair

I am in a quandary over which phones will pair with the 2011 X3. I have Verizon service and the owners site does not show any phones which will work with the new X3. Any owners out there, can you tell me what phones pair and what features you are getting. I have a 3.5 with NAV on order.

iPhone pairs easily. Shares phone, contacts, music, and maybe more stuff I haven't experienced personally yet. The iPad and iPod Touch pair, too.

I'm not so sure it's so much phone dependent as it is Bluetooth dependent.

Just get the iPhone, you know you really want one . . .

If you can find one, that is... They're gonna be pretty well sold out for a while on Verizon if people keep buying them like they did with preorders. That was incredible! I too really like the iPhone and the way it integrates with BMW's iDrive/screen.

Have (2) LG Rumor-2 phones. Fast Bluetooth pairing with no problems. I was surprised that all contacts transferred automatically without asking. When both phones are in the X3, the one that was paired first has priority.

Phones update

Thanks for the information from those who already have paired phones. The reason that I am sensitive is that when the dealer did my N54 fix, they upgraded the CIC to the latest software and toasted my phones conncections. They still have not been able to fix it. I am hearing the old refrain "we don't guarentee phone conectivity >>>> Ya de Da.

iPhone

Just a side note. I have had my X3 for two weeks now and while it does pair the contacts from my iPhone automatically for phone calls and for navigation addresses, it does not yet sync the messages or e-mails. My CA told me that they are working on having FULL iPhone pairing with an expected software update later. I have not yet tried the music as I plug my iPod directly into the AUX jack. My understanding is that the Blackberry phones can work with the full range of options at this time.

Not sure who they are? The main issue is on Apples side and their current implementation of the Bluetooth profile. It's unable to push SMS or email via BT.
