Rear ended...Bumper on backorder worldwide

My car was rear ended 2 weeks ago, got a called from the body shop stating there are no bumpers available and i am at least #50 on the wait list....have to wait another 2-3 months for it to arrive. This sucks big time

Not good... long waiting lists for parts are usually associated with oddball far eastern manufacturers not BMW!

maybe off topic but my wing mirror is also on backorder... though the wait is apparently 10 days only.. but still.. it's a wing mirror!

Sorry to hear you got rear ended and the parts will take such a long time. At least it looks drivable which is better than having it parked for 2-4 months (not much). Good luck, and again sorry to hear about this.
