Blind Spot Detection?

I was wondering if anyone has added Blind Spot Detection to their F25 and if so which system they used? I'm looking to add it. I know, just turn my head. I do but sometimes I forget to.

Im not sure if this is a very easy thing to retrofit. You'd have to add radar modules in the bumper that are used to detect upcoming cars.

OEM solutions : You need to change the mirrors (500 usd on ebay), adding vibrator to steering wheel (dont know the price), radar master and slave ( 400 usd on ebay), wire hardness. and coding (ISTA and Esys)

You can get aftermarket BSD for about 200 usd (not vibration on steering wheel)

Yes, there are both microwave and ultrasonic; I was looking for specific experience with aftermarket systems. From my understanding the microwave ones are superior in the after market.

Do you have specific experience with the aftermarket one? What are your thoughts on it?

OK, I went with a premium shop locally. I now have both the BSD and remote starting capability.
