Check Engine Light | ICM related | Dealer Headaches

Picked up my car this morning I had dropped it off last week Thursday Morning at 7:30am and told the guy that was taking care of me my concerns and issues. Then I got a call from the SA that was assigned my car the first time back in November when I took it in for oil change.

I had low windshield fluid and they topped it and also inspected:
- Replace Wiper Blades (front) caused by Streaking Blade

I wanted them to check my suspension, tire and wheel they performed:
- Vehicle was lifted and inspected suspension components, wheel/tires no bends or punctures no play felt.

Check Engine Light lamp had appeared since I filled up at BP, i usually only use Shell/Valero.
CEL came on, I used my obd2 scanner and cleared it twice. After 100 miles still came on.
as per service note, caused by
- FAILED ICM W/T TO RUN TEST PLAN & PERFORM CEHCKS
- Corrected by Perform Vehicle Test
- Corrected by Charging Battery
- Corrected by Programming/Encoding Control Units
- Corrected by Performing Vehicle Diagnosis- Test module
- Installed B1SA-Control Unit ICM
- Performed ISTA Test, connected to charged. Multiple ICM Faults.
Worked through test plan for ICM internal Fault. Check for solid mounting of control unit, checked & it was mounted properly. Removed center console to gain access to ICM.
Replaced ICM Control Unit & Programmed Vehicle & Control Unit.
- performed ride height sensor adjustment ABL and ICM sensor initial operation ABL. Test Drove Vehicle operates as designed.

I also informed them of Fuel Smell/Rotten since February coming in the cabin as soon as I got in the car. This is funny to me.
- Test drove vehicle no fuel smell. Removed acoustic cover and from foam insulation on top of engine. Removed coils and inspected injectors. no leakage found. could not duplicate fuel smell. Noted: slight plastic smell coming from aftermarket black coating on wheels ... How does fuel smell/rotten now is similar to plastic smell (which there is no plastic smell at all)
(Hahaha this is my plastidipped wheels)

Overall, not bad but not good either .. it took a week for all of this since the module never arrived when it was suppose to as per SA. Other than that having a really awful loaner (base model, small) they didn't even explain to me anything on what was done, why or whatever.

Attached is a picture of this evening after I got home and wanted to install my new BMC Drop-In Filter i couldn't, because the sensor clip is broken. Before I took the car into service last week the clip was there and it was easy to remove.

1 thing for sure is I'm not going back to that dealer since its 50 miles away and only went there since its near my job location where I go to on thursdays only.

The smell in the cabin. How long ago was the cabin filter replaced?

Are the wires normally exposed like that at the clip? I think you can still use a screw driver to pop the clip out.

The smell in cabin started in February with the harsher winter weather and after the first big snow storm.
Not sure when the cabin filter was replaced with previous owner (6 months ownership) and I bought it from Dealership in FLorida.

Yeah all the wires in other sensors are exposed like that.
I figured it out, I unscrewed those 2 screws and used a flat screwdriver from the opposite way.
