Good morning.
Now that the weather is cooling down, mid 30's to 40 in the morning my TPM constantly gives me a low tire pressure alarm in the morning. I check all 4 tires and find them within 1lbs of each other, so no low tire. I come to the first stop light and do a reset and it's fine all day until the next morning and it starts all over again.
Anyone else have this little issue? Is there any way to make the system less sensitive?

I had this issue as well but it was only in one tire. I used bimmer code and changed it so on I-drive it will show the tire PSI and Temp. I think when it restarted the module after making the changes it fixed the issue and it stopped pooping up. I'd try this.

Sounds like you need to re-initialize your TPMS. Sure, the tires are within 1 lb of each other, but they probably are on the boardline of whatever the TPMS was last initialized at, so the cold temps trip it.

Make sure the tires are at the pressure you want, then re-initialize the TPMS. Problem solved.

When I used Bimmercode to add temp and psi to the screen, all I got were the words "temp and "psi" but no info.

At 50 or 60 degrees I have the tires set to the psi I want.
At 35, I'm sure the pressure must go down and hence the alarm goes off.
As I said in my 1st post. I do reset the TPMS at the next stop light and all is good for the day.

Check the pressure, if it keeps going off the next day after you re-initialize the TPMS, then you have a slow leak in one or more tires. The pressure from one day to the next shouldnt be changing that much to trip the TPMS.

If one morning the pressure is 36 psi, the next morning it should be 36 psi. If the pressure has remained the same but the TPMS trips, then you have bad TPMS sensors. They do not last forever, they have batteries in them and the sensor has to be replaced periodically.

you lose about 1psi for every 10 degree of temp drop. So if you had 36 psi in august and now it is 32psi, try taking back to 36psi and reset. it should clear if no other problem.

The best way would be to check the actual pressure in the tyre vs what TPMS is telling you. If they are close them indeed your tyre pressures are too low. This can be done after you have coded your car a others have mentioned above.

If however you find a great discrepancy, then the sensor might be /going bad.

Update:
I pressured all tires to 30psi. Reset the TPMS while driving.
Came back home left the engine running and deflated one tire until the alarm went off. It went off at 25lbs.
So. I was keeping my tires at 28 but the thirty degree drop in overnight temps got the tires to drop to 25psi and bingo, there's the alarm.
I inflated all tires to 31-32 lbs. Problem solved!

Why were you at 30psi to begin with? 28i's should be at 32psi f/r

Why? Because I can adjust my pressure to achieve the best tire wear. I get great mileage out of my tires doing it this way. That's why.
Had I known the threshold for the alarm was 25psi, I wouldn't of run them at 28psi. Now they are 31. That gives me enough buffer.

Wow, how many sets of tires have you replaced already?

Hypermilers will tell you that higher pressure in your tires will give you better mileage, not lower. Of course you lose some comfort and change tire wear pattern.

Lower pressure gives you more traction, better for off road /etc.

Most of us will do just fine with going with the manufacturers recommended tire pressure.

None. I bought the X3 in Feb 2018. Tires had about 15-20k on them but over inflating was wearing out the center. Now the tread is nice and flat.

It will only show a value once you start driving.

Some cars do not have the capability and will not display anything.
