X3 with sports suspension

Ahoy!
About to order an x3 and on the fence regarding the sports suspension that comes with the dynamic package here, in the UK.
Anybody in the new X3 world have this? If so, how is it?

I am not referring to the high tech VDC package.

Thanks!

That has a lot to do with what you are used to, does your 2002 Audi A4 have s-line sport suspension?

Picking up one on Tues with the dynamic package so can give you some feedback then. There have been a few threads about sports suspension and the general consensus seems to be that even bigger rims and sports suspension don't equate to a harsh ride. It will be firmer but it's whether that becomes too uncomfortable for you or not.

Myself? I can't imagine owning a BMW without a sports suspension.

Right-on. Thanks for sharing more about you.

Like I wrote, I'm inquiring about the stiffer spring and shock set up available in the UK, and other parts of the world. You guys in the states can't even get it. You have to get the dynamic handling pkg. or the M sport pkg.

I am wanting to hear from those who have driven x3's with it.
Sfax, thanks and I look forward to getting your opinion.

I broke a couple of vertebra moto-xing a couple years ago and while I want the better handling, simpler system I need to know its not bone rattling.

It wasn't about me, it was about being generally an advocate for the sport suspensions.

Each previous BMW had them and they made all the difference in the handling. Driving loaners w/o it felt to me like driving completely different vehicles. I don't have it on this car, as you noted, so can only comment generally thinking it might add a bit when combined with those who can comment on this specific car.

I can see that my comment certainly warranted your judgmental and insulting response considering how rude I'd been wasting your time in sharing an opinion on sport suspensions.

Easy there mate,
Just taking a p__ on your comment.I get your take and agree with the underlying message, just not the way it was written.

I would imagine most of us here on this forum are enthusiasts and would order cars with sports suspensions.

These cars are new animals and I'm here to learn all I can. I had a mate with an early, previous gen X3 with the SS it was harsh.
