The Android compatibility version was release in July 2012. But I am not sure the specifics and experience of any consumers. See the link below for some details.

It's compatible with Android phones. There's even snap in phone adapters for Android models and Blackberrys. The issue with Androids and Blackberrys is that are so many different models available by a variety of manufacturers that come in so many different sizes. I'm not surprised that BMW doesn't make phone adapters for all of them. I-phones just come in a few different models.

Check the website and call BMW. More snap in adapters being added.

That's the remote app, which I also can't seem to find in the play store in the US. Anyone in the US get this to work?

People in the US have got it using the UK app store and it works (register a fake UK address) - I thought it was in the US app store now though

It's there. Try clicking on this URL https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-b...387675830?mt=8 and then click on View in iTunes.

Do some search for BMW Remote APK file for android. There is a way to download it and install it. I did several months ago and it works.
