Where to store loose change in the X3
I notice the X3 does not have a coin holder or an ash tray, just wondering where do you guys keep the loose change for parking meter and such.

When I drove my '02 Tacoma, I bought a Toyota brand coin holder. I keep it with some other small items in the compartment under the head light selector switch

Same place I kept it the 335...in a zip lock bag placed in the storage compartment in the drivers door.

This is what I use... just place it in drink holder.

I put mine in the drivers door handle, which is also where I usually leave my key when it's parked here at the house.

There is a fold-out compartment on the dash to the left (in US) of the steering column. Perfect for change.

Problem solved:
http://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/32...NVENIENCE-KIT/ I have one of these and it is extremely useful. The lid flips up to reveal an ash tray. You can also store coins in it. Very good quality and fits perfectly with the X3 interior. A bit pricey, but worth it. As a bonus, it also fits in the door storage pocket, in the water bottle recess. The kit also comes with a pop-up lighter, something the X3 does not have by default. |

Buy the two small cups that fit into the drink holders from a BMW dealer. They work perfectly. Usually they are part of the extended storage option but you can buy them separately
