There's nothing in RFT. Would LOVE to see P Zero Neros.

Conti SSRs were not All Season, but they were awful. Bad road feel, bad wear, poor lateral traction, poor comfort. They're not All Season, but the PZeros have been a DRAMATIC improvement.

As far as I can tell they're not available in the "Sport Staggered" sizes in RFT.

As technology advances, all tires will be RFTs. The current ones are far better than the ones of (say) five years ago. Not perfect yet, but coming.

If you had opted for non runflats would you have received a spare {doughnut}?

Sorry, I don't buy that. I push my cars and have no problems with RFTs. Maybe on race cars you can find a performance difference, but not on standard roads. And I've never found anyone who's said this who have actually compared them side by side. More like the read an article that said so.

Nope.
At least on US models, run flats are standard with no traditional tire option available. There is no option for a spare tire or doughnut style tire and no place to store one.

i had rfts on my e90 that i had 4yrs when i replace them on the last year of having the car i notice the big difference. i wasnt the only 1 to realize many e92 and e90 owners swap out the rfts for non rfts. to each their own

All seasons are always a compromise. Use summers in summer where you will have better grip, better tyre life and less noise, then change to winters when it gets cold. Your dealer will store and change them for you there is little downside.

Right, but in the UK the 20d comes without run flats unless you order them as an upgrade or order a better wheel or option pkg that includes a better wheel. Hence, my question.

So really no mini spare or anything in the UK if you don't go for the run flats?
That's really odd.
I'm hoping somebody responds.

In the UK you get a can of sealent to get you home. The idea is that if you get a warning from the tyre pressure monitor you check the pressure then use the sealent to get you to a garage. The same idea as run flats, just cheaper and you keep a good ride. The only downside is if you rip a sidewall you are stuffed!!!

Sorry I saw your ID was from Portland OR so I thought you were talking about US models.
