X3 sales on fire

I guess I can stop hoping for a deal on BMW financing before I take delivery.

You could also look at it the other way. With more demand comes more supply and with more supply your dealers will be more willing to negotiate more.

That's some pretty good sales for the company. The X3s are definitely selling ..59.4% growth

I heard from the source that there will not be any deals (from corp) for X3 in 2012 in Canada due to high demand.

Incentive only comes from dealership level.

It seems that BMW has had no trouble selling every current generation X3 that it could manufacture. Therefore I suspect that the increased sales numbers have more to do with increased production capacity in SC than an increase in demand. BMW has put out a series of notices about investing in the SC plant to increase production without really specifying which vehicles are being most effected (I am not counting the investments being made to manufacture the X4). I suspect that the majority of these production increases were for X3s since worldwide demand was outstripping supply by a significant margin. Based on the inventory levels at the dealers near me, BMW could sell even more if they could produce more.

Man, I am starting to miss the days where we were one of the first ones in the country to have one. Now I see them almost daily around here. ;-(

Every X3, X5, and X6 on our lines are already sold. I don't remember how many orders are backed up, it's a few. To make more X3s we would have to build another line which would not be economical. We can't speed the line up because that would deteriorate the structural integrity of the vehicle. We are running 24 hours a day 6 days a week. Yes the X4 is probably the investment, but like the X6, some of it is ran along the same line as the X5 so the X4 will be ran with the X3. It will probably be a low volume run just like the X6 which is like 1 X6 to 10 X5s.

No problem, trust me I know how frustrating it can be waiting on something and wonder what are they doing, why, why why?
I thought being here may ease some peoples minds. Besides I drive them too!!
I'm still waiting on my Z4

What kind of discounts do Spartenburg employees get in purchasing vehicles? 1/2 price, right?
