The warm up...

Hope everyone has had a great Xmas! Quick query to those with the 2.0d model...how long does it take to warm up i.e. just below the 100 degree mark? As a basis i\'d say mine takes 10-15mins with a outside temp over 8 degrees, therefore, wanna check if this is normal.

Cheers

For interest , that's about the timeframe for a 3.0d too. After that point the fuel economy really improves in classic diesel style.

Yes, it takes approx 10-15 min motorway/highway traffic to warm the engine. I have noticed that it takes longer time if getting caught in traffic jams with a cold engine.

7 mins To get to about 85C (3 miles town to m,way) at 10C air temp. then power on for the m,way ramp, cruise at 80 for 10 miles but temp stil at about 85C. Temp only gets to just off the 100C mark when I slowed at the destination. Does that help?
