AC Schnitzer or similar power upgrades
Anybody has any experience with performance upgrade kit from AC Schnitzer or others?
Can you install yourself? Any recommendations? What with BMW warranty? Any drawbacks? Looking into getting the additional power.... |

Every Bmw dealer works together with schnitzer and they will do the built in for you , if you do it yourself you loose every warranty on your car so not recommendable

Seems many on the forum swear by this piggy back tune due to being cheap and easy to install and uninstall before service --->>>http://burgertuning.com

Just saw the dyno for stage1 and 2 wow , stage2 looks like it can beat the 35i stock then.
Thanks

Richi, very interesting! Do you know anything about the silencer/exhausts?
Diffusor in combination with exhausts is very interesting. Exhausts are not as big as AC Schnitzer - better fit in the openings. Where can I buy? |

@Tjalle: Unfortunately no...couldn't find any information about the exhausts. On the website of 3D Design are no information about it and in the Blog they have is everything in japanese.
But I think the AC Schnitzer exhaust and this system has the same dimension. Just the AC Schnitzer exhaust looks bigger because of the wall thickness of metal in my point of view. There you can find a dealer, they might know what kind of exhaust they have: http://www.3ddesign.jp/english/dealer.htm |

In my world, carbon fibre parts are made of a kind of plastic with carbon fibres. I am not convinced it is "Formula 1 quality carbon fibre" - they have to be baked in an oven.
They are - still - nice looking. |
