437m wheels on x3

The wheels looks great on your car! Do you know if your setup would fit a 2011 x3 (non M). Any recommendations on where I can find a set at a good price?

Always best to do your own research, but I have now seen these wheels on a first gen. X3 and, of course, on my second generation. OE wheels, especially from true M vehicles, tend to be pricey, even used.
I found mine in the New York/New Jersey area and had them shipped. Went into this planning to keep looking until I could make the numbers work for me. I did end up with M3 tires which I sold to a BMW CCA member within driving distance, which of course lowered my cost. Definitely not cheap to do, but it looks the way I planned and makes me grin every time I drive it!

Never thought about M wheels on an X3, but this looks great.

Look great! Do you think 285 or 295 rear tire would have worked?

There is room to go wider - trick would be to insure that the circumference of the front and rear tires are well within tolerance. You likely would have to change the front sizes as well to accomplish that.

Well, according to wheel offset calculator under the wheels and tires section of E90postDOTcom forum, the next 19" size up that would have the proper circumference is 315/35/19 - and tirerack lists exactly one option for that size (a Hoosier R7). If the wheel changes to 20" there can be other options for tires, meaning that you then have to figure out correct offsets and proper widths that might work... and may need to go to 20" on the front - at which point you may be looking at X5 / X6 sizes.

Next size would be
255/45/19
285/45/19

OEM is 27.7" diameter (245/275) and the new is 28.0" diameter (255/285)
The trick is to make sure they are the same overall diameter front to back.

Now on tire rack there are some Michelin psa for around $260 /$280

///Mposter - Hoping that you meant for the rear size to be 285/40/19 - and that combo should work (non-runflats - so carry a kit)

I would have gone a bit wider with the tires, but looks very good.

Great looking wheels, and car.
On a side note, I don't recall ever seeing a red X3 on the road

Wearing Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ 245/45 front 275/40 rear.. I'm continental biased after having horrible experience with the MPSS car came with. I put 12k miles on them and 12k on Continental DWS06 (dws06 day & night better on Rain). Hopefully the AS3+ don't disappoint me only reason I got them was because I found them for less which was rare.

Looks great! Will be curious to know what you think of the Michelins long term.

Seriously, clean up that garage floor, your X4 will thank you...

Im thinking of a square set of 275/40/19 x 9 or 9.5 ET35. I used wheel - size dot com. Can someone check if the clearance is acceptable.

Thanks in advance.
