Also, I see that the California EPA has only approved the N20 for the X1. So there should be something coming for Z4 and 528i. Hopefully the same announcement will include the X3. |

I see ambiance lighting is now included in ZPP, whereas it wasn't available at all before. Did they add that feature? That would be great if it is like the ambiance lighting in my F10. Getting ready to order an X3 for my wife.

hmmm, well the stock market dropping 10% in the last two weeks has certainly changed my mind about some things! Things are looking pretty glim for the US (and globaly) I have a feeling X3 sales are going to drop off especially seen as they basically increased the base price in the US by $1350 by forcing options a lot of us wouldn't get (conv package now included in premium package which you have to get if you want SA or M package...) do the math on a 35i and most of you will be paying more for a 2012 than a 2011 because of the package changes. 28i hasn't changed but no new engine, might have to hang on to the old SUV till a 35d, new N20 engine, or Audi Q5 Hybrid comes out

The M sport package and the technology package both require the premium package. Looks like they want to force ordering more fully loaded vehicles.

First post here, been reading the forum for a month now and it's full of great information. I'm going to order a X3 35i but I decided to hold out for a 2012. I plan I getting mine fairly loaded and with the new packages, It will work out better for me. I will get the 19" 309 rims, Anthracite headliner, Sirius radio, and floor mats for only $225 more than my 2011 build. Pretty decent amount of stuff for and extra $225.

If the production for 2012 model starts in September, why does the pricing list have an effective date of October 1? Does it mean X3 produced in September will be a 2012 model but with 2011 model pricing?

Delivery lag
I was told that some of that early production will be going to other markets and that US orders would not be delivered until 10/1

I placed my 2011 35i order two weeks ago and was told by my SA at the time 2012's would not be available for another 5-6 months. So is it safe to say the deliveries will actually begin 10/1. If so I'm going to see if I can have mine switched to a 2012 since I don't have a production number yet....does anyone know if that's possible?

Any word on Canadian 2012 Pricing? I put an order in 2 weeks ago, still don't have a production number. I am fine with an '11 as I will keep the car for the long term, but with the Can $ well above par was wondering if there might be a price cut? |
