That's a lot of bike rack! Looks easy to load and very secure, but's its overkill for me. I just figure out how to throw my bikes in the back cargo area.
What's that part sitting off to the side in the last pic? |

GC3 that's the stock bumper.
inamik, My rear will stay clean. This is a big deal if you mountain bike, cyclocross, or ride in inclement weather. I don't have to worry about cutting or marring the interior. The work isn't the issue to me (literally 3 hours total for hitch and rack); it's the cost, around $1,000, is what I didn't like. |

Needed a bike rack only hitch for our 2015 28d, so I installed a Curt hitch from Auto Anything ($140). The Curt hitch slides on between the frame and the bumper, so you keep the stock bumper. Only downside is, unlike the Invisihitch, the receiver is always visible. But a much cheaper solution.

Yep, you pay pretty dearly to keep your dear looking pretty. That $1k included the rack. The hitch and receiver was over $700 w shipping. To be honest, I think it's too big of a margin compared to the Curt but what can you do?
