Yep - it's hot enough to make a pig sweat and we're running a new set of SNOWS.

Why? I just put together a winter package for a ‘new to us’ 2012 X3 28i, and wanted to dry run the wheels and tires to ensure there would be no fitment / TPMS / other surprises come wintertime.

Tires are 225/60-17 Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 SUV RunFlats on dedicated winter wheels that my wife picked out from TireRack (she likes the aftermarket wheels better than the stock Style 306s!). So far, so good. Surprisingly smooth and quiet ride for Winters.

Mounted 'em again on Monday . . . Guess we're about to see here in DC if they were worth the trouble. Put the Blizzaks on the MINI too.
