Anyone here using an 'awning' with their car? I'm thinking this would be useful - recommendations? (I have BMW factory roof bars)

Tailgating? Other than that, I'm not sure. I've seen camper style vans with this kind of attachments though.

For road trips/day camping kind of thing - set the lawn chair out under the awning and relax, etc.
