Ipod Nano or ipod touch

Been given some birthday money and i'm thinking about buying one of the above. Which would be better suited to my proffesional media setup.
I want music and videos to be available as they are now on my USB stick.

Edit: would it be better to buy an iphone 5s for an additional £150?
