Looking to buy or take off lease 2013 or newer X3 Xdrive35i Msport.
Must at least have heated seats (cold weather package) and comfort access. I am in the midst of selling my 2003 X5 3.0i 5 speed manual. As soon as this sale is complete I am a go on this X3. Least desired exterior color is black. Carbon Black Metallic is okay so long as it has light interior. All other exterior colors are okay (it gets to 100 degrees plus here in summer, El Dorado Hills, CA). Best way to reach me is via email weshkrambox at gmail dot com. Check Tenafly and Princeton/Mt Laurel BMW. I just bought a CPO X3 28xdrive from Princeton. We replaced my wife's 2004 X5 3.0i. The market for 1st gen X5s is pretty soft.

At Tenafly ask for Ramon Moreno, Princeton ask for Mark Gianchiglia.
Sales managers at are Rich Aquino and Alan Causing, respectively. Princeton is a better buying experience overall but Tenafly may have more selection. |

My other ride is a 335i vert 6M and that has a killer suspension, engine and gearbox. The X3 is super nice, but when i want twisty motoring, my 335i is hard to beat. the attached pic is from our drive home when we stayed over in Elko NV. i've just begun to dial in down shifting with this paddle shifter/automatic. best engine braking for me comes in down shifts from 6 or 5th gear down to 3rd gear. shifts below 3rd require slower mph and more traffic/road congestion. |

overall, the market for gen1 X5 with automatics is very soft. my '03 5-speed at least generated decent interest (8 potentials) and sold the car with 147k miles for around $6k. buyer wound up being in same town as me. talk about a local sale. |
