BMW Online in Canada?

I don't seem to be able to search the forum but wondered what the situation is with this and RTTI in Canada? Is it something we will never get? Any insight into this?
To be clear with BMW online I am referring to this option appearing in the idrive and getting weather etc.

Thanks

I don't think we'll get real time traffic (at least not in the near future). Once again Canadians are missing features that should enhance our experience.

Wow, the "poor Canadians" post comes out again. Amazingly consistent and baffling. Do they teach Canadians that in school? Part of Canadian civics class or something? Some event in history that shapes all Canadians that I've missed?

"Features that should enhance your experience." Should? Having BMW online is some sort of right? Something Canadians are owed?

If the service is technically possible, legal, and there's a way to make money on it, folks would be selling it to you. There's no "big meanie" out there keeping things away from Canadians just to make them sad. If it's not available, first place to check are laws, regulations, or market locks that differ from other countries. Bet the answer is there.

Seems like a pretty simple question to me. Thanks for your contribution.

Yup, does seem pretty simple. Hope someone can answer it for you. My confusion over the consistent "poor Canada" responses wasn't directed at your question. Wish I had an answer for you on that.

I agree with Nahoa's post - if BMW Canada could make a profit off it, and the demand was there, it would likely exist. Quit the whining already.
