This is how it looked on the online configurator when I built mine. |

It's really just a very shitty 3D representation. If you go onto the configurator, either on bmwusa.com or bmw.co.uk, you will see that I am right.

My old X5 e53? I do very much like this car. They are different vehicles made for markets at two different times, and that is clear. I loved my X5 then, and I love my X3 now, but my X3 is the car I have now, so I cannot really judge better or worse. I do miss the tinglingly obnoxious exhaust note of the V8. My neighbors who live in the low-rise built above the driveway into my building's courtyard used to tell me that they were able to tell it was me coming home by the rumbling.
The thing that really sets them apart is BMW's pre-Bangle design philosophy on the E53. The F25's subtle distancing from the Bangle effect makes it a completely different car. Since the launch of the current 7-series, BMW has decided to venture into a new, cleaner, sleeker, but very BMW phase, something that the sharp corners of the E53's dimensions do not exhibit. Interior-wise, BMW has stepped it up. I wish I had a full length piece of wood across the center console, but how much can I complain when I'm at 60 in the same amount of time that a child would pick dropped food back up off the floor? |

The time a child would pick up dropped food??? . . . Oh, I see what you mean, us adults leave food longer on the floor 'cause we're getting slower . . . reminds me of that burger yesterday . . . Hmm, burgers . . .
