Automatic Headlamp Control issue...
I have my lamp switch set to "Automatic Headlamp Control". All day, from morning to afternoon to night, i notice the Xenon headlamps always have the Daytime running lights on AND the low beam lamps on. I would have figured the low beams would be OFF on a sunny afternoon whereas the daytime running lights would be on.
Is this normal behvaiour for the low beams to be ON during a sunny day with the Automatic Headlamp Control engaged? For the record i can change the lamp switch to Lamps Off / Day Time Running Lights and it works just fine showing only the DTR lights not the low beams. Thanks |

rehash . . .
1. if you haven't . . . read manual for auto on/off lights. info and conditions. 2. is the outside windscreen at mirror area clean, sensor is behind circle .50 cent size. 3. experiment in different light and shine a flash light into the sensor, reaction ? (or use a piece of scotch tape to limit sensor, for a day or two, it won't last) 4. if it doesn't react to #3 . . . thats a problem
