That appendix was worth at least 0.1 seconds a lap.

You would think in this day and age that something basic as calipers would be bullet proof by now. Remembering not that long ago Schumi crashing and breaking leg at Silverstone when the rear brake calipers failed on his Ferrari F1.

It's nearly always an excuse for Checo but this time a visor tear off that was discarded from 'old fox' ALO on the exact moment before PER overtakes him and RBR have claimed that tear off lodged into a critical aero inlet preventing PER proceeding to challenge those in front of him. Errant plastic supermarket bags blowing about tracks and these visor tear offs that can cause problems is something the FIA hasn't addressed yet, ie 'FIA for road safety'.

And the most unexpected photo? This, out at dinner on Friday night at a steak restaurant (we didn’t bother him). Yes the steak was superb. Melbourne has great food. I’ve got tons more photos but I won’t bore you with them.

Needless to say the whole weekend was awesome. Melbourne does an amazing job.

Of course . I know that , I mean you won't find '10 piston calipers with a '420 mm diameter brake rotor at your M car .

But as we know, it has It's price !

The new M compound brakes don't fade. I had no issues with my G80 M3 at Lime Rock last year.
Porsche brakes have always been some of, if not the best.

Drivers have plenty of time to fiddle with steering wheel settings. They can find time to stuff tear offs somewhere inside the cockpit. FIA really needs to get on top of this!!!
