Who has used launch control on their X3?

I did it as per the manual, Sport + mode and moved shifter to S mode, after the car was warmed up. But no matter what, I couldn't get the flag to show up in the instrument cluster, which it is supposed to, to indicate you are in launch control mode. The revs seemed to be stable around 3000 RPM though, and they didn't go all the way up, so maybe on my model, it doesn't show the flag?

Thanks. My RPM's seemed about right, but the flag definitely didn't pop up, and I see it should come up pretty quickly. Will try again and see. I wonder if the NA models don't show it or something...

My 14' X3 28i didnt have Launch Control but my X4 M40 does

But i think it also had to do with the software version your car is running it seems only 15+ models have it

Depends on your sw version but you might be able to code it. I do have it on my 2016.

Sounds like my 2014 doesn't have it then, even though it has the M Sport package... Bummer. Brake boosting seems to work pretty good nonetheless.

Can be coded btw; went to the drag strip?

No, was just trying it for fun to see how it worked, after having tried it on a Golf R. I will have to put that on my list of coding wants...
