Looking for some help with pre LCI trailer wiring
Can someone that has the OEM wiring installed on their pre LCI vehicle please check and let me know the part number on the trailer control module? I have purchased what I believe is the correct wiring harness and module but would like to verify before I plug it in and things get all smoky

Current PN for pre-LCI module is 71606856747. There's also a bunch of part numbers that this one supersedes.
Supersession table for above https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...&q=71606856747 Pre-LCI kit is 82112287407 (supersedes 82712157704), install instructions are in EBA 2222180

Thanks, exactly what i was looking for.
The module I have is 71606855562 which shows as a previous version of 71606856747 so i believe i am good. The harness i have does not appear to have a part number anywhere but tracing out all the wires and connectors it matches with the diagram in the install instructions although some of the colors are different. Feel confident enough to go connect it up and see if it works. Either way has to be better than the pos Tekonsha I have been trying to get working. |

Hi all! sorry just thought I would add on to this. Is there a different PN for LCI (2015-2017) trailer modules and wiring? Seems like most topics are 2014 and earlier.

I believe the relevant p/n's for the post LCI retrofit are in post 2 but have not verified to find accurate p/n's your best bet is to enter your VIN on https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sel...e=0&series=F25 |
